Her mark on the healthcare industry, specifically as a nurse practitioner, has grown since she first started practicing in 2007. Along her journey, she has received numerous accolades including the prestigious Charge RN of the Year, and has solidified her role as a reputable professional in her field.

Education and Career Background

Her educational journey began at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark where she participated in a Nursing Study Abroad Program. This international experience not only broadened her perspective but also instilled a deep sense of empathy towards diverse cultural health practices and approaches. This empathetic thread then continued into her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and her Masters of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University, Washington, DC.

Due to her immense dedication to her profession, She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and a Registered Nurse (RN) in Florida. She also holds certifications in Advanced Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS). Furthermore, her commitment to safe and ethical research protocols has led her to complete the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) Training, GCP, and HSP.
